Dr. Sitesh Srivastav

Director FHRAI - IHM

Qualification: Ph.D in Hospitality Management, MBA in Marketing Management, Masters in Tourism Management, UGC-NET in Tourism Administration and Management, Diploma in Hotel Management.

Experience: 36 years of experience in industry and academia. Has held key leadership roles, including Principal at Dr Ambedkar Institute of Hotel Management, Chandigarh; Institute of Hotel Management, Hajipur (Patna);and Professor and Head of the Department at the Department of Hotel Management, BIT Mesra, Ranchi. His 20 years industry career includes senior leadership roles at ITDC, where he has also served as General Manager.

Mr. Rishabh Misra

Senior Lecturer, Academic Coordinator

Qualification: Pursuing PhD from IITTM-JNU, MBA-HR, Master in Tourism and travel management, Bachelors in Hotel Management from Institute of Hotel Management Kolkata, UGC NET qualified (tourism administration & mngt.), National Hospitality Teachers’ Eligibility Test (NHTET) Qualified, Certified Master Trainer and Facilitator, Certified Learner Facilitator, Certified Mentor, WSET level 01 etc. Member of the academic committee (NCHMCT).

Experience: 17 years of Industry experience including more than 8 years of Teaching in Hospitality and Tourism. Was selected as Kitchen Management Trainee by India Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC), Govt. of India, and since then has served as Head Chef and Sous Chef in various 5-star and 4-Star hotels across India and abroad. Specializes in Food and Beverage Production, Food and Beverage Management etc. Proficient in development of learning tools and pedagogies, course design, content creation and social media.

Mrs. Ashima Chatterjee Misra

Lecturer cum Instructor, Head of Training and Placements

Qualification: Master in Hospitality & Hotel Administration, Pg. Diploma in Human Rights, Bachelors in Hotel Management from Institute of Hotel Management Kolkata, National Hospitality Teachers’ Eligibility Test (NHTET) Qualified, Certified Master Trainer and Facilitator, Certified Learner Facilitator, and Certified Departmental Trainer from Oberoi Centre of Learning & Development (OCLD).

Experience: 11 years of Industry experience including more than 7 years of Teaching in Hospitality and Tourism. Has served as Learning and Development Personnel with Oberoi Group of Hotels & Resorts and specializes in Interpersonal Skills Training and nurturing individuals to work efficiently in Rooms Division and Food Service Department. Proficient in development of tools and pedagogies for constructive, collaborative, integrative, reflective and inquiry-based learning.

Mr. Yogendra Prasad

Assistant Lecturer

Qualification: MTTM from IGNOU Delhi (2025), BHMCT from AKTU Lucknow (2010 to 2014).

Experience: 10 years experience in Bakery at various Hotels such as The Park, Clark inn, The Metropolitan, and Sodexo. 2 Years in Academic as Assistant Lecturer at Sunderdeep college of Hotel management & FHRAI Institute of Hospitality Management. Expertise in Bakery and Confectionery.

Ms. Shreya Gupta

Assistant Lecturer

Qualification: BSc in Hospitality & Hotel Administration from IHM Gandhinagar. Holds an MBA in HRM from IGNOU.

Experience: 9.5 years of overall professional experience, including approx. 4 years in teaching and 5.5 years in the hospitality industry. Has gained extensive exposure working with reputed standalone restaurants and other hospitality organizations, developing strong operational and service excellence skills. Specializes in Food & Beverage Service and Room Division operations.

Mr. Shubhdeep Singh

Qualification: Pursuing MBA in Human Resources, NMIMS (2025 – Present), Bachelors in Hospitality & Hotel Administration, IHM Gwalior (2016 – 2020).

Experience: Approx. 4+ years in hospitality and academic roles. Experience with IHCL, Hyatt Regency, Khyber Resorts, and Roseate House. Areas of Expertise include Learning & Development, Culinary Arts (Indian, Continental, Garde Manger), Student Training & Mentorship, and Hospitality Operations. Skilled in practical training, evaluation, and student career guidance.
