About FHRAI
The Federation of Hotel & Restaurant Associations of India, often known by the acronym, FHRAI, is the Apex Body of the four Regional Associations representing the Hospitality Industry. THE FHRAI is the 3rd largest Hotel & Restaurant Association in the world, which provides an interface between the Hospitality Industry, Political Leadership, Academics, International Associations and other Stake Holders. FHRAI is committed to promote and protect the interests of the Hospitality Industry. FHRAI is committed to the progress of the Industry through the various activities like education and training, research and publication, Annual Convention to promote interaction with Government officials, political leaders and stake holders of the Industry. FHRAI is managed by the Executive Committee headed by the elected President having a tenure of one year. The Executive Committee comprises of members from the four Regional Associations. The day-to-day business is conducted by the Secretariat headed by the Secretary General.
About FHRAI IHM
The Foundation of FHRAI Institute of Hospitality Management was laid by Shri Jagmoham, Union Minister of Tourism & Culture on 3rd November, 2003 and the infrastructure was operational in the year 2005 standing on 7 acers of land situated in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh. FHRAI - IHM is one of the premiere hospitality institutions in Northern India, offering B.Sc. in Hospitality & Hotel Administration jointly by National Council of Hotel Management Catering Technology Noida, under Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, and Indira Gandhi National Open University New Delhi, where it focuses on imparting quality education by preparing young minds for imbibing value based holistic learning thereby making it “the center of excellence” for times ahead. The Institute laboratories were setup with all the latest equipment and state of art infrastructure at par to any Five Star Hotel so as to impart quality education and factual training helping, them to excel as hospitality professionals. Today the institute not only trains the budding talents in hospitality and nurtures them into professionals but also supports the current hospitality industry workforce in upskill them by further enhancement of their prior learnings.
FHRAI IHM‘s education initiative offers a unique blend of culinary tradition and contemporary industry standards, where passionate professionals having years of experience both in industry and academic with outstanding credentials, ensure that the students get exposure to practical competencies and theoretical frameworks. The goal of the college not only limits to nurturing students into professionals but also promote life changing skills like leadership, empathy and emotional intelligence, hence turning them into successful individuals.

Qualification: Master in Zoology from University of Lucknow, Post Graduate Programme in Project Planning & Infrastructure Development from University of Rajasthan and Diploma in Hotel Management from Institute of Hotel Management Lucknow.

Experience: 34 years of experience as a team leader, has served as the Principal of Institute of Hotel Management & Catering Technology Mumbai, the Principal of Institute of Hotel Management of Lucknow and the State Institute of Hotel Management, Jodhpur and has mentored many students proficiently in inculcating skills and attitude required to excel in hospitality industry.

Rishabh Misra
Mr. Rishabh Misra

Lecturer cum Instructor

Qualification: Master in Business Administration-HR, Bachelors in Hotel Management from Institute of Hotel Management Kolkata, Certified Master trainer and facilitator, Certified Learner Facilitator, Certified Mentor, and is pursuing Masters in Travel and Tourism Management (2020-21).

Experience: 12.5 years of Industry experience including more than 5 years of Teaching in Hospitality and Tourism. Has served as Head Chef and Sous Chef in various 5-star and 4-Star hotels across India and abroad. Specializes in Food and Beverage Production, Food and Beverage Management etc. Proficient in development of learning tools and pedagogies.

Qualification: Master in Hospitality & Hotel Administration, Pg. Diploma in Human Rights, Bachelors in Hotel Management from Institute of Hotel Management Kolkata, Certified Master Trainer and Facilitator, Certified Learner Facilitator, and Certified Departmental Trainer from Oberoi Centre of Learning & Development (OCLD).

Experience: 7 years of Industry experience including 2.5 years of Teaching in Hospitality and Tourism. Has served as Learning and Development Personnel with Oberoi Group of Hotels & Resorts and specializes in Interpersonal Skills Training and nurturing individuals to work efficiently in Rooms Division and Food Service Department. Proficient in development of tools and pedagogies for constructive, collaborative, integrative, reflective and inquiry-based learning.

Experience: 12 Years of Experience in the area of Computer Hardware & Networks, Server, Application Software, ERP Implementations, Security and Surveillance.
